Meet Tim Harrington

Tim Harrington
Tim Harrington

Tim Harrington is a native of Cape Cod having spent most of his life living in Harwich Port, Massachusetts. As a result, he was fortunate to have been introduced to boating and the out of doors at an early age. The benefit of the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and the lakes and ponds of Cape Cod only heightened his love of boating, fishing and hunting.

Tim's background includes a four-year stint in the United States Marine Corp where he spent four years as a helicopter Crew Chief with an expeditionary squadron.

Upon his return to civilian life, Tim continued working in the aviation industry, and also managed to find time to provide marine servicing.

After several years of working at local marinas, in 1997 Tim decided to go out on his own and established Madison Marine Services located in Harwich, Massachusetts. In addition to serving his own customer base, Tim services customers for several off Cape dealers and has represented manufacturers for warranty work on and off Cape Cod.

Madison Marine Services offers a full line of boating needs including wood working, glass, gel coat, wiring, electronics, painting and spraying, commissioning and de-commissioning, fabrication, and hauling. The company also offers sales and brokering of boats and motors (inboard/outboard).

The mission of Madison Marine Services is to provide quality service at reasonable rates while minimizing the time a boat is out of the water. Tim is also a strong advocate of educating owners concerning the proper care and maintenance of their boats. It is with this same philosophy that Tim welcomes your questions and/or boating problems.

Always wishing you fair winds and a good tide.
